Join me on a beautiful circular hike through the heart of the Pirin Mountains, far from the busy summer crowds. This route combines visits to three glacial lakes — Disilishko Lake, Pleshivoto Lake, and Pleshko Lake — with the ascent of Desilitsa Peak (2713 m), one of the most striking summits in Northern Pirin.

The hike starts from Bezbog Hut and passes through Yulen Nature Reserve, following the valley of the Desilitsa River and the Disilishki Cirque. Along the way, we will enjoy spectacular views of Polezhan, Bezbog, Kaymakchal, and many of the surrounding peaks, while exploring some of the lesser-known lakes of the Pirin Mountains.

After reaching the summit of Desilitsa, a long descent awaits us past Pleshko Lake and through extensive blueberry fields. This hike is best suited for hikers in good physical condition who are looking to explore a quieter and more remote side of Pirin.
